Hi, I’m Alex, The Global Gadabout. I haven’t lived or worked in one place (continuously) for longer than a year since I was 18 years old. My average is three to six months. The travel bug bit me young and it bit me hard. By the time I was 20 years old, I had visited six out of seven continents. At 25, I achieved my life goal of exploring all seven continents with a last-minute icebreaker cruise to Antarctica. I have now visited, lived in, and/or worked in over 65 countries around the world. I have no particular agenda, plan, or goal, just an insatiable desire to journey. I gad about the world, collecting experiences, exploring fascinating places, taking in stunning scenery, meeting people from all walks of life and corners of the globe, and generally having a fantastic time! I am The Global Gadabout.
